About John P. McCall Jr.

John is a Dallas Native and second generation Judge. He has a vast understanding and education for Real Estate and property. His under graduate from University of Texas Austin, in Petroleum Land Management, as well as his work in Fort Worth performing title search for a Local Gas company provides unique experience few attorneys can proclaim. After his undergraduate, he went on to obtain a Masters Degree from Texas A&M Commerce, formerly E.T.S.U. Those two degrees paved the way to law school with a J.D. degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth.

In private practice his primary focus was in the area of Family Law, where he was featured in Wall Street Journal on June 10, 2008. Fighting and winning for families has been his passion and he has files and files of victorious judgments for both moms and dads.

In addition to Family Law, John has helped grieving families with their Probate needs with and without Legal Wills. The Probate system can be very complicated and you want an experienced attorney who can walk you through the process without issue. John is currently serving as one of the court appointed Attorney Ad-Litems for Collin County cases without Wills.

Sitting on the Bench for 10 years has fine tuned John’s courtroom strategy and knows first hand what the court seeks for relevant evidence and winning testimony. The court room is not a place to represent yourself and be denied the justice you seek.

John and his spouse reside in Dallas. When he is not in the courthouse, he is usually restoring one of his many vintage vehicles or Land Cruisers!

Experience and Expertise from Your Family Lawyer

Most family law cases are settled out of court. If there is conflict on the facts there may be litigation. You need an attorney who is skillful at meditation, collaborating and resolving disagreements to reach a settlement and, if those efforts fail, equally comfortable assertively protecting you interests in the courtroom.
